At least Chappell voices his own opinions, even if they're biased. Our Indian lot of commentators are paid to voice the BCCI's opinion. BCCI's unbiased opinion, I might add.

Australia's fitness regime is pretty hard and OTT from what I have heard.they've got to cut loose a few rigourous excercise in this heat.same applies to most teams

Many Aussies I talked to say that Australia's injury problems are due to some rules at the grass root level. Young boys are allowed to bowl only five or ten overs per day at the lower levels, after which they are rested. When these young boys take to the rigours of professional cricket, they break like glass. In the past, bowlers trained themselves by bowling hundreds of deliveries at the nets and practice matches, but this isn't true in Australia right now.

By all means, point it out. Was there a bias or is this still an arguable point? The conditions in Adelaide didn't match that of the 1st day at the Brisbane.

Exactly - we've got new formulas on the Internet these days. Ian Chappell didn't point out Australia's over rate (in a different Test match' date=' different conditions) so India's over rate in the different Test match was good. It's quite hard to understand the math behind it. Now, even if one were to assume that Australia had a poor OR, it doesn't make India's OR acceptable.[/quote'] People need to understand that two wrongs don't make a right. Coming back to Ian Chappell, one can disagree with his opinions which tend to be strong and at times even bizarre but one can not blame him for being biased against a particular country. There are other channel 9 commentators such as Healy or even Slater to some extent who are biased in their commentary but Chappell in not one of them. Yesterday Warne and Taylor criticized Australia's overrate in no uncertain terms. So people need to get over this "victim" mentality.
