Hey, this is really cool. You really should post more about TN cricket and most definitely about why they are chokers in Ranji :haha: Coaching as you may know was done by rao...there was a senior coach durailingam who ahd links at the state level..but i saw him only occasionally..During chats to us, he was severe in his comments on srikkanth especially...he wanted us to follow the example of boon and marsh by taking singles.. barely i saw a bowling coach...infact i was once given advice by a member of the indian women's team since durai had invited them there to use their facilities! This is PK Dharmalingam of course, a very soft spoken old guy when I saw him on TV. He sounded like a nice old grandpa. There was this Cricket coaching related program on TV in 1997 where he was teaching about bowling good length balls and he was saying "When you are bowling to tall batsmen like Ravi Shastri, Mark Waugh, Clive Lloyd...and when you are bowling to short batsmen like Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Dharmalingam...." - I totally ROTFLed when he added his name to the list :haha: Santhome has a great culture - not just cricket. I heard they had the 4 time national champion S.Raman as TT coach too.
