I was invited to take part in the 2014/2015 expedition to Antarctica. Having just returned from Antarctica, I wanted to share some pictures of what it was like down there. Antarctica is one of the most desolate, inhospitable and dangerous places on earth. Not to mention, it is also one of the most difficult to get to. There are many ways one can get to Antarctica. We chose to charter a private plane, thus giving us freedom of the places we could cover on this expedition. kd03rc.jpg Start in Sydney, Australia and start heading south: xqjt34.jpg

99% of the planet, we managed to destroy. Antarctica is the remaining 1% that we have thankfully left alone. For how much longer, I wonder. Antarctica is melting and is melting at a rapid rate.

ETv you went last time as well right? any connection between Nkorea and Antartic? :secret:
They share one common trait - Desolate, inhospitable and extremely difficult to get to. I got invited to take part in a research expedition in a private aircraft with other glaciologists, researchers and scientists. I couldn't turn such an offer down.
