vishalvirsingh Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I heard BOND- Shane Bond is the MI fast bowling coach. this guy was a 145 to 150 K bowler and was a wicket taker during his playing days.. Is he Good .. He could be Good and I am sure he wont support trundlers too... should he not be considered as INDIAN fast bowling coach. not putting up doubts on bharati Arun but does he have the required international TEST experience.
MK55 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Yes definitely. As a genuine fast bowler, I’m sure he understands the nuances of fast bowling. He must have at least played some role in the transformation of New Zealand’s pace department. Also, with his reputation, he’ll have some more credibility and authority over our bowlers. I don’t think Bharat Arun’s the right man as the head coach. He might have brought results at the domestic or under- 19 level but at the international stage, he is found wanting. He can continue working as an assistant though. Also with the presence of Ravi Shastri and other big shots around the team, I seriously doubt if Bharat Arun has any significant influence over the bowlers.
