gaurav92 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 After the success of the first auction in IPL 2014, we have another one for the upcoming world cup 2015. This game is about forming teams of 15 players (with some rules). The total pool of players would be 15*14 = about 210, we will have 6 teams of 15 players each making it 90 players and the rest will remain unsold. I would define categories of players like Associate (For teams below 10 ranking) and Top 10 teams. You need to select 12 players from Top 10 teams and have to compulsorily select 3 players from the associate teams as well. The detailed rules would be shared with you in the coming days once I assure myself of good participation for this exciting game. For rules of previous edition just visit this thread http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=310134 Brief about the game The owners own a team, they participate in an auction (Takes place on ICF chat room with an auctioneer auctioning players), every player has a base price and the teams bid for the players they want with the limited purse that they have. In all, they select 15 players in the squad and form their teams. Once the competition start, the Cricinfo scores (in the fantasy league game) gets added to their credit after every game, and the team with maximum score wins !
