Not sure what but there is something lacks in his batting which stops me to put him there. I rate Aravinda DeSilva as a better SL batsman than Sangakkara.

Half a dozen Pakistani player answer in Hindi when they were ask in English, SaNgakara is better than them, no comparison between ARVINDA d. He is not an ATG for me because of his batting or wicket keeping. He was always an outstanding batsman and a decent wicket keeper, but he is a true ATG because of the impact he had on Sri Lankan cricket. He basically pillared their entire team throughout his career.

If he was Indian you would hype him like you guys do all your players. :giggle: Only Sachin is feasibly above him amongst Indian players. This includes only middle order batsman as opening is a specialist slot.
