It's correct decision and more than half of Drs reviews are based on umpire's call . IMO if less that half the ball is hitting GTFO, no matter what the umpire says, and that is the major problem with DRS which needs to be changed.

When u pure gives decision it is considered correct so to overrule it you need total evidence that decision is wrong otherwise it will be considered correct . So technology has limitation and when it's in margin of error the decision is never reversed as I assumption is its correct . Now let me explain you another thing ...when best technology made by man cannot say this guy is wrong who are you to say it ? Makes sense ? I cannot simplify it more . If best technology avaloble cannot say it's wrong decision then it's not wrong and these type of decisions does not hurt anyone because they are marginal...the howlers do and they are eliminated .

Technology has margin of error and it's not there to over turn the decision which it itself cannot predict ..if technology itself cannot say it's not out how the hell is it howler ?

It's not tis job to give out when umpire has given out ! Did you not read a single word I said ? Man if you have problem with this I doubt you saw even single match of Drs because you are totally clueless .

It's not out vs not out ,it's correct decision vs howler .less than 50 percent of decision are clear cut there is always umpires call even when given not out .

It's not there to give decision but to correct decisions ..decisions which are so wrong that even technology with all its limitations can predict to be wrong .(aka howlers )

keith Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Mate, it hit the bails by a coat of varnish, it was a howler and it had a major impact on the game. . The next time the ball hits the bails when I'm batting I'm just going to put them back on and tell the bowlers that MCGGG said it's not out.
