Good, We should outnumber or atleast match the Aussie crowds in the Semi-final. Make enough noise and chants which will make Australians feel like they are playing in India instead of Kangaroo land.

FYI in Australia the no 1 sport is not cricket... I don't think it's even no2. But still they screw every team :giggle:
This is not a good sign .World cup is back after 23 years in their country and even for their teams QF match they are not filling stadium

Clarke has requested fans through Twitter to fill up the stadium in the semi finals. Sent from my MI 3W using Tapatalk
Its India, even if we're playing PNG, it'll be filled up...

Working day in Australia what do you expect? Plus as much as India think otherwise although we are 'happy' to win a WC most Australians prefer an Ashes win, that's just reality

Why people wondering? this is not Football. Crikcket fills stadiums mainly in India.
Plus it is March. Most people in Australia are over cricket by February and we all have our footy teams to follow. This WC should have been done 2 weeks ago

this world cup happens once every 4 years and its been played in aus after 23 years! your not talking about an everyday event. There should be no complaints from Clarke for eg if Indians outnumber Aussies at the SCG. Seems like a good chance they will.

We will follow test cricket more, always have. No wonder the Ashes rates so highly. Doesn't matter that the WC happens every 4 years. Believe me people are over cricket by March. Not everyone is me who follows cricket everywhere. 98% of Australians would follow football in some way shape or form.

Aussie fans prefer Big bash semi final over WC QF ?

I was there yesterday.. The crowd was passionless and it made the viewing boring,a compete opposite of the Indian games. Cricket deserves better. I don't think places like this should get the bigger tournaments, the Aussies don't seem to want it.

Well...This WC have seen some full stadiums during the league phase...heck..even matches between associates have good crowd. But as I said....ICC should think of fitting the WC in 4 weeks and not 6 weeks. Many people travel to see these games...imagine...staying 6-7 days in hotel to watch 2 games of your team...meaning...no more money left of later stages. I don't blame the fans for not flocking to ICC WC knockout games as ICC expected that they are supposed to....ICC gave the spectators a big finger with such a ridicules schedule...& spectators are showing a bigger back by not able to attend. Heck...even SCG and MCG were not full. But if these QFs were about 2 weeks earlier..all 3 QF were probably going to have full house.

Give you a tip Big Bash SF was $20 a ticket the WC was a minimum of $50, most were around $100

Ashes are a bigger deal some countries love odis. We 'like' them no doubt but we don't love them. We much prefer test matches
