The kind of money riding on him is staggering and is beyond par. Of course, stars and stars go and its the media's responsibility to create new brands to promote. As Sachin nears the close of the career, there will be other contenders and chief amongst them is Dhoni. Starting out as a rustic dasher, he has metamorphosized beautifully into this cool, calm and collected leader of men. Dhoni could well turn out to be one of the richest Indian sportsman ever, second only to Sachin.
