I dont understand why cant PCB give Younis khan the team that he wants. Whats the worst that can happen, one more loss. Noone anyways expects Pak to win the test and draw the series.

Finally Pakistan team finds a true leader after Imran. Shame that he is not leading this team. But you have to admire Younis Khan. He took a stand and not willing to bulge

This is shocking. As i have repeated so many times before, for a team that has so many internal wranglings, its a miracle pakistan even manages to compete as a team in the field. There would so many hurt egos in the pakistan, its amazing to think they are still in one piece.

Younis refuses to lead team in third Test CNN-IBN Posted on Dec 06, 2007 at 23:12 | Updated Dec 06, 2007 at 23:49 Bangalore: Pakistan's stand-in-skipper Younis Khan has reportedly refused to lead the team in the third and the final Test match here in Bangalore, starting on Saturday. He has demanded to captain the side only on his own terms and conditions. According to sources, Younis, who led from the front, scoring a unbeaten century during the second Test match at Kolkata to pull up a remarkable draw along with Mohammad Yousuf, was unhappy with the team composition in the Kolkata Test as well as with the replacements called in from Pakistan for the third Test match. Younis was made the captain for the second Test match against India owing to Shoaib Malik's injury. Meanwhile, the sources also said that even Mohammad Yousuf isn't too willing to take over the mantle. And the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is trying to convince either of those two to lead the team in the third Test. However, in case they fail to do so, then either Misbah-ul-Haq or Shoaib Akhtar will be considered to do the job. This is not the first time Younis has declared his unwillingness to lead Pakistan, he had earlier refused captaincy before the 2006 Champions Trophy but was persuaded by the PCB to change his stand. http://www.cricketnext.com/news/younis-refuses-to-lead-team-in-third-test/28202-13.html
