Kriterion Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 You are welcome. Let's hope it helps prevent future spout of rubbish. Absolutely, I have now seen the light. I now realize 7th out of 8 is a great rank. Best of all Bangladesh is almost there in ODIs!!!

BaisnabBengali Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Bitter truth is we (BD) are still way behind than what we rate we are.. That's harsh but true. But again Indians under rate us. We played good in 2012. In 2012 we played good in ASIA CUP. In 2013 we whitewash NZ and defeated WES 2-1. Against main WES team not like 2009. But we played horrible in 2014. Unfortunately Asia Cup 14,Wt20 14 were globally telecasted. So our failures were more mentioned than previous successes against NZ and WES. Now we have started 2015 with high note. Even Indians will admit it. But yes we have improved may be 3-4 steps but behaving like we have jumped 10 steps ahead. Which is irritating. Still I think we don't get the appreciation we due to our misfortune. Others behave as if we haven't improved or improved slightly which is wrong too. That inspire us to play more well. Also we should stop talking and prove them wrong in the field. Especially this year against IND,SA. Next year is more thrilling for BD. In 2016 we gonna face SA in SA, AUS in AUS according FTP. And may be IND in IND too. So it's tough tough challenge...
BeautifulGame Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Sehwag spanked 175 in a world cup against Bangladesh in Bangladesh He backs up his talks with his bat Bangladesh lost to Banglore express Binny despite Muahfiqur loud mouth comically Bangladesh fans can cry and whinge all they want , its pointless unless they talk with Performances .

Austin 3:!6 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I think even though Shewag was more of a FTB still scoring 5 200s including 300s that too with strike rate close to 100 are not joke. Even BD people know he was a destructive batsman. But for his arrogant behavior we don't like him much. Many have a negative thought about him. Thus they like to underrate him. Which is wrong. Like Kriterion. Why is Sehwag arrogant again? Just because he stated a fact that Bengalis dont know to play cricket? C'mmon everyone knows that...Sehwag was just being brutally honest.

aceofbase Posted May 15, 2015 Author Posted May 15, 2015 I can see the hurt and desperation of these bangla fans...When you have been passionately following your team for years and your team loses 90% of the games, you are bound to get hurt inside and show the frustration on other available forums...Honestly, if i was a bangladeshi and following the BD team,I would be pretty pissed...Thankfully for Indian fans, most of us have been following our team since the early 90s coinciding with Sachins entry and thoroughly enjoyed the ride so far...
GrandMasterSaxy Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Bangladesh for SA is like Hongkong/Nepal for Bangladesh. I don't think BCB would send a full strength team to play against HK/Nepal.

BaisnabBengali Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Bangladesh lost to Hongkong at home . Not exactly the right analogy lol Yeah like SA lost against BD in 2007..
