Kalia_Test Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 On Pak related topics ( purpose of this thread) , its recent Metro service between Rawalpindi and Islamabad has been a huge success :two_thumbs_up: I remember some numbers and economic impact and will post them soon. Pak infrastructure and its Power and Water issues ( that impact irrigation ) is another very interesting topic. There are many studies that will be relevant to this thread. So many things - thanks OP once again :icflove:

It will be interesting to compare Metro service in Pak with other similar ones in developing nations like India and developed nations like Canada :P Is Metro Bus better or monorail - How does cost-benefit ratio vary by length of kilometres served, catchment area covered and peak benefit duration? Khans are traditionally Pashtuns and KP Province has lot of Pakhtuns. A quick wiki check indeed confirms that Amjad Khan was born in Peshawar, KP Province of current Pakistan so I can understand how this is relevant to the thread. Amjad Khan was born in Adezai, a small village of Peshawar, British India, to legendary actor Jayant. His brothers are actors Imtiaz Khan and Inayat Khan who acted in one film. His family hails from the city of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Pakistan). This is an excellent point how people born in current day Pakistan still managed to do well in India. Shows that there is no discrimination. We need to campaign for more cultural exchanges between India and Pak. Fawad Khan is getting opportunities here - nice to see :two_thumbs_up:
