I thought in his new found spirit he will regenerate himself but instead..he joined ICL by next month. Huh. What a devote countryman he is !! Yes there were 13 others who also joined. But Kapali's case was different. Others Habibul, Manjurul and few others were 30+ so for them it was ok. Among youngsters Nafees, Basya were out of form. But Kapali was in form of his life. He also thought he had done much for his country..pufff 18/19 avarage and talked like..:finger: However..main thing is he was never actually ready in the crease. He had a major mental issues that includes less of confidence or over confidence, temperament issues and for this he became a waste of a talent.

May be Bangladesh never got good enough coaches who understand what a minnow team is. The success of Hathurusinghe may be due to that. He was a part of a SL team who were minnows and knows how being minnows, and saw his team rise from minnows to a force in test cricket. SL ahd very similar players to Kapali, Aravinda is one of them, termed mad max, but look how he ended his career. Guys like Mahanama, Tillekaratne and Gurusinghe were never very good test players. But the former averaged 30 and latter two 40 with the bat, due to good coaching and persistence and support from the board. But one thing was pretty sure, these guys were very patriotic and put the country before self at any cost.

^^ Hathurusinghe has to do a lot. The same core of players were losing left right and center before he became the coach. There are idiots in SLC, we lost him due to clash of egos in SLC. SL were doing very well he when he was the batting coach.
