Mishra ji played consistently after Kumble retired. Averaged 40 plus. He is not a new player who is a youngster. He debuted a long time back and is an FC veteran.

He was not mature enough then and was much slower through the air. He is better than that now, definitely better than Karn Sharma. He is a rhythm bowler and when low on confidence, he just cannot get his rhythm right. Its not like we have a World beating bowling attack right now. Ashwin has also struggled outside India. I hope Ashwin and Mishra get to consistently play 5-6 Test matches together.
