If their is a popularity contest between Advani and Modi , I would bet on Modi winning , he is that popular ... I wouldn't discount his chances next election nationally ... he could emerge as one of the candidates for the PM.. And Mayawati ,karuanidhi , Buddadheb all have regional clout , Modi has national clout ... love him , hate him but can't ignore him..
