Ram
I have calculated your losses as $26' date='000 tomrow morn :D[/quote'] Dont be so sure.... Remember 2001 Tamil Nadu ? EACH and EVERY exit poll predicted a DMK victory. The incumbent govt was popular, MK was a wily CM, there was no visible anti-incumbency wave. Look what happened, Amma romped home with a resounding majority. Dont under-estimate the intelligence of the Indian electorate. :D

Ram
Digressing a bit away from the topic, the 2001 ADMK win in Tamil Nadu has to be one of the most unexpected election results in the history. Experts cant explain even today how and why DMK lost so badly. Then , for the incumebent DMK govt 1) There was no major law and order problem 2) Inflation was in control 3) There were no rebels 4) They had all the strong alliance partners like PMK 5) The press was on their side 6) The general impression was that they had performed well, especially since they had come to power on an anti-corruption stance. Yet, they lost badly. Inexplicable. Elections are so fascinating. One can never point the finger at one particular issue and say " This is what is going to win/lose the election".
