Does these long gaps in between matches reduce the interest in the series?

Lets face it, I almost forgot there is an ongoing Ind-SA series going on so long are the breaks between matches. You need 3-4 days gap between each ODIs and now 2 week break between ODIs - test matches? This is unacceptable and only drags the series without any purpose.

Your views on these long breaks?

Atleast they are better than the Ashes where you have two week breaks in between the test series
