The Versova police on Sunday registered an FIR under section 354 of IPC, against actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for allegedly misbehaving with a 24-year-old woman residing in the same building as the actor, in Andheri. In her complaint, the woman had accused Nawazuddin of manhandling her and pushing her in the chest. However, the actor's manager, Anup Pandey, has a completely different story to tell.

 

 

 

According to Pandey, two men and three women barged into Nawazuddin's office at Yari Road, on Sunday, to meet him and give him a notice to vacate the area in front of his office. However, since Nawaz never claimed that the area was his, there was no question of vacating it, reasoned Pandey. He stated that one of the men, Khalil, even tried to pull Nawaz's wife, Alia, in his quest to meet the actor face-to-face. "All this while, Nawazuddin was in the washroom and when he came out, he asked the five people to just keep the notice and go. There was confrontation between the two parties before the five people left Nawaz's place," added Anup.

 

 

 

Reportedly, Nawaz has now filed an FIR against all of them under the sections 143, 147, 354, 452 and 506 of IPC.
