zen Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) I was wondering which are the Bollywood Classics which should be restored to HD / 4k and may be even re-released in cinemas probably as a limited run so today's audiences can enjoy these films on big screen too. At least they can be released on Blue Ray (BR) with high quality restoration. I have heard about Sholay and Mugal-e-Azam being restored (not sure if in 4k) and re-released. Films such as Naya Daur, Hum Dono, etc. have been restored in color (4k?). From the top of my head, some of the other films that can be restored (preferably in 4k with audio enhancement, color correction if required, etc.), re-edited and re-released (at least on BR) could be:50s-70s (Golden period of Bollywood) * Awaara * Madhumati * Shree 420 * Ganga Jumna* Pakeezah * Bobby * Deewar Edited February 14, 2016 by rett
