Has there been any instance of a team who was struggling to save the follow on and went on to win the match..? 1. They got out just before follow on..but opposition batted and lost the game 2. Barely saved the follow on and went on to win the match

Yes, I was in C4 forum that time. i remember a very hotly argued thread mainly between asian forummers in support of Sarwan and aussie forummers supporting McGrath. there were allegations of Sarwan enquiring a bit unkindly on Mrs.McGrath's health and McGrath enquiring about the depth of the close friendship between Sarwan and Lara!
