Afridi...from 0 to hero to back to 0

I was watching few pakistani news channel/ public reaction yt video. Those are like drugs, damn addictive. 

After Pakistan lost to bangladesh in Asia Cup- He was ridiculed. Each and everyone person was saying its public money which is going into waste. Even though I doubt any of those people in public earn enough to pay taxes. Videos of guys saying if I get power I would use rocket launcher on afridi and what not.

After Pakistan Defeated Bangladesh in WC- Same people- Our captain is back. He is legend. A true hero never dies. Where are the haters now? Afridi is the best player in the world. 

After Pakistan lost to India in WC- Afridi again ridiculed. 

Sadly this isn't limited to Pakistan. This is how Indians do it with Dhoni. I think only Kohli is properly respected in limited sense. Every other player like Sharma, Dhawan is as good as their last match. 

What breaks my heart is how Dhoni is treated. People are gonna miss him like crazy when he retires.

Afridi is far from a LEGEND. Dhoni already is. He may have lost the touch, but he has done enough in his career for Indian cricketing success.  He in every sense is a LEGEND and a true one.

Dhoni was the difference in taking India from a middle of the rung LOI side to one of the best in LOIs. Coming in lower down the order and averaging 50+ is no small feat and a great keeper and captain to boot. He will be sorely missed and I dare say when Dhoni hangs his boots, India's frailty in chasing will again come to fore. People will realize what we had once he's no longer around. "Ghar ki murgi daal barabar" is the saying which comes to mind when I think of Dhoni and fans' fickle-mindedness.
