Kohli generally revels when the ball is coming on nicely on to the bat. Hope he can also prove himself in seaming and spinning conditions. He has the potential to do that.

Ricky Ponting - SR 59, SRT  SR - 55, Sanga - SR 54, Lara - SR 60, Dravid - SR 43, Kalliis 46.

 

Smith - 59, Kohli - 56, Kane - 50, Root - 55.

 

Players like Dravid and Kallis are missing otherwise most of the better batsmen of 2000s batted at similar pace than current crop of batsmen
