Now, its pick your 5. The 5 selectors. Who, if you had powers, would be the 5 BCCI selectors of Indian team? And chairman of selector.

The ones who should be selectors are the ones who watch a lot of domestic cricket and dedicated in that.

So it's hard to pick for us fans because we have no idea which cricketers are passionate to do this .

Throwing out the names of random great players is pointless as most of them are probably too busy to watch even any Ranji matches .

Another important factor is they should have played some amount of modern ay cricket to know the differences it to requires to play each format.More than picking poor players our biggest problem under the current selectors is persisting with wrong players in wrong formats

One name I do like is Aakash Chopra .He seems to have very good knowledge of our domestic cricket and played enough tests and t20s to understand modern day cricket .

Also just to add more than having regional representatives , the selection panel should be made up of a fast bowler , opener , spinner etc so that they can give inputs in their respective areas of expertise for example

Having a fast bowler part of selection panel may help us plan long term with our seam attack .

These people are actively involved in the game as commentator or coaches.

Commentator have added advantage as Deep Dasgupta & Amol Mujumdar are commentator for most of domestic matches
