And it is none other than his teammate Yuvraj Singh who has beaten the boss. It’s official, well almost official that Yuvraj Singh and Deepika Padukone are a couple. Reiterating this, Deepika flew down to Sydney on Wednesday apparently following a special invitation from her latest love Yuvraj Singh to watch the on going India-Australia test series. Sources add that it is Yuvi who has sponsored her entire trip to Australia inclusive of air tickets and stay, as a token of his new-found love for this IT girl. Speculations about Yuvi showing interest in the ‘Om Shanti Om’ girl started brewing up a little more than a month back, even as her link-up with Dhoni saw its peak. “The couple met at the Prive nightclub sometime back and hit it off immediately. Since then, they started spending a lot of time together. According to sources, the fact that Deepika played host to Yuvi’s birthday party at Enigma on December 19 was sort of an unofficial declaration that they are dating each other.†Though, it may be a little too early to state that they are engaged, the couple is definitely finding solace in each other’s company. A source from Yuvi’s friend circle adds, “Though they have never accepted it officially, they have not denied their relationship either. Yuvraj has openly declared to one of his friends on the networking site, Facebook that he is seeing Deepika and is very happy about it. In fact after his break-up with Kim Sharma (the last fight between the two lasted for a record 12 hours on a cruise party, say onlookers), he has been sort of lonely and has been heard saying that Deepika is very much like the girl whom he would like to build a long-term bond with.†Deepika, on the other hand, has had link-ups with model Nihar Pandya and actor Ranbir Kapoor earlier. Bumper Posted January 4, 2008 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Yuvraj's fetish for getting out to innocous deliveries, is disgusting. If he plays this way (without even making the opponent bowlers earn his wicket), its hard to justify why he needs to be given another test match. His mind is all in shambles right now. Putting too much pressure on himself to succeed. Neither the Hogg's flipper nor Lee's fuller delivery would have been good enough to get Yuvraj in a ODI or T20. He knows that he is a king in these formats. He must play with the same mindset in Tests. Otherwise we'd have seen the last of Yuvraj in white clothes, atleast for the next couple of years.
