maggot_brain
heard them say this. Wow...this is looking difficult! If the Aussies don't make 250+ today they'll bat through to lunch tomorrow. We won't win. Link to comment

Mr. Wicket
Australia has an opportunity to show the world how desperately they want to win this one. To make allowances for lost time due to rain' date=' they should declare with a target of 300. Lets see if they got the balls to do that.[/quote'] Maybe even less. Keep in mind that Ponting has 15 consecutive test wins to date, and a win at the SCG will draw him level with Steve Waugh's record. Let's see if he'll instruct his batsmen to bat in fourth gear, and put it all on the line in search of a win. The lure of that record has to be huge. He has two World Cups, a 5-0 Ashes win and now sharing/taking the record for consecutive test wins would put him, statistically at least, among the greatest captains. Will be interesting to see if he targets that record. Might be too much of a lure. and if Australia go about it the wrong way, a crash and burn situation is very likely. Link to comment
Sachinism
i think 250+ is chaseable on this wicket india just need to see off the new ball, after that its not too hard to bat Link to comment
maggot_brain
We need to bowl Australia out quickly though. I don't think two sessions on the last day will be enough to win this match. Link to comment
