Why are rules different for 5th day. The game was ending at 12.30 pm (IST), after half an hour of extension, unless it rained. So no matter what your over rate is day ends at 12.30 pm.. Why is it different for 5th day, The game was suppose to go until 1.15 pm. Aussie over-rate was pathetic...so should they be penalized for it..

Times can be extended Kabira as long as the light is good. If a team cannot bowl the quota of overs by the specified time, the fielding captain is fined or punished that's all.

this is stupid because places like Ind, Pak, SA and SL light fades very quickly whereas in England and Australia light is good for long, does this mean Aussies can afford to take their time example this game whereas In India we were robbed off test victory in Bangalore. Why not make it standard rule??

if a result is possible, time can be extended the rule is probably put into place because a side winning is better than having a draw

so on Day 1, side bowling slow gets away with bowling few overs less, but on Day 5 the team has luxury to bowl until whenever...

its not till whenver, its just making up lost time or the extra 30 mins of play teams should be penalized for slow over rates, but that just doesnt happen anymore
