Guest Hiten.
New Delhi: Aakash Chopra is not going through a lucky phase in life for sure. After an out of form Virender Sehwag pipped him for a place in the Indian Test team, the former opener was left slogging on the domestic circuit yet again. There was more bad news in store for Chopra's supporters on Monday as he had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a local hospital after he felt giddy and his pulse reportedly dropped below 50. Chopra was being treated by Dr. Shailendra Karnawat at the Curable Hospital in Indore, who advised that the former India opener be kept under observation. The batsman is suspected to be suffering from an acute ENT problem In the event, left-hander Shikhar Dhawan had to open the second innings in the company of left-hander Gautam Gambhir, with Delhi set a challenging target of 271 on a sporting pitch. --- Hopefully he recovers faster Link to comment
