vvvslaxman
Enough this frequent choking against left arm seamers with new ball is alarming. IN a tricky chase, i would have thrown a couple of sacrifical lambs upfront. These guys at this age cannot suddenly become a good batsman against moving balls. Atleast taill will be good enough to miss the edges. Link to comment
ShoonyaSifar
More than anything, the captain and coach needs to give more chances to younger players to bat at the top of the order during the tournament. Could easily have let Pant, Kedar, DK even Dhoni bat at 3 in some of the matches. The middle order is deprived of batting opportunities due to a strong top order and comes up short when faced with such daunting challenge. Also it will help if the top order did not collapse in a heap in crucial knock out matches. One or two of them failing is fine but all failing cheaply is too big a hole to fill up. The other option is not to have the same batting order in T20s. Rohit, Dhawan and Kohli should never be playing together in T20. Perhaps two of them should not even play T20s (and Dhoni). let younger batsmen get those batting opportunities. Edited July 11, 2019 by ShoonyaSifar Link to comment
