An Idle mind is a devil's workshop - my mom, whenever I used to lazy around. :nervous: Laziness is the father of invention - nikred (tragic that someone actually came out with that one before me). :hitler:
Another one along those lines Sleep is the cousin of death - Nas (Nasir Jones - Rapper)
Wow, didn't know you were down with the Black Panthers! Here's mine 'Freedom is.....free of the need to be free' - George Clinton 'Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it' - Georges Santayana, quite pertinent in the light of the current economic crisis if one is aware of what happened in 1929. 'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results' - Albert Einstein 'I have nothing to declare except my genius' - Wilde.
I'm not really, listening to rap music, have heard his name mentioned a few times, so read up a bit on him.
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist; Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist; Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist; Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew; Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me. - Niemoller
Very nice :two_thumbs_up:

My recent fav inspirational quote: Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.
Love it!

Fight, and you may die. Run and you may live, at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here as young men and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom! - William Wallace (Braveheart)

"How great would a world be without religion, without borders, without race, caste, creed, without any human differences and hence without any war or violence" - The Great Me :P “There are three ingredients in the good life: learning, earning and yearning.” - Christopher Morley Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. - Sir Winston Churchill "The great successful men of the world have used their imagination…they think ahead and create their mental picture in all its details, filling in here, adding a little there, altering this a bit and that a bit, but steadily building - steadily building." - Robert Collier You only have to do a very few things right in your life so long as you don't do too many things wrong. - Warren Buffett

ViruRulez have you heard the song below? Imagine there's no Heaven It's easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people Sharing all the world You may say that I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope someday you'll join us And the world will live as one

Nope :dontknow: Whose song is it? The lyrics are nice but as mentioned in the song it is a dream to get such a world as it is merely impossible. :sniffle: At best we can make unity and mutual cooperation amongst all these differences. :icflove:

When was that song written... I had read this from somewhere perhaps in my childhood but I tried finding it when I grew up but never found it.. I thought it was a Churchill quote in my childhood but then I searched all of Churchill's quotes when I grew up but did not find it.. so I gave the credit to me .. but I still remember as having read this quote somewhere in my childhood

I think 'Imagine' was released in 1971, but I'm not 100% sure.
