That intro is a pointer to the huge potential this site has. If we all chip in, the site can be a rip-roaring success. Thank you, Pain Killer.
Cheers Dhondy. You are one of the names I had googled, but the results that showed up were only about Farrukh Dhondy!

If you are talking about the Inzy-Athers interview threads or 'The Greatest Test match every played' thread, I have them all saved on my hard drive:D.

Namaste ICF’ers Blue blooded Indian here from Mumbai. Nearing 23, I cleared my Chartered Accountancy Final exams in July (with great difficulty) and I’ve started by first job in a Bank 3 weeks ago. There are very few things that are more important to me than Cricket. My love for this game must’ve begun right when my dad got me a plastic bat and ball when I was a toddler. Played for my school and college but couldn’t make it to any decent club here. I started watching cricket on TV during the 1991 India tour of Aus and went for my first cricket match in the 1996 WC, which was again versus Aus (we lost by 17 runs, but Sachin was ‘Paisa Vasool’). Our Test wins in Adelaide ’03, Rawalpindi ’04 and the 6 victories over Pakistan in World Cups are the ones which I cherish the most. As a fan, the most frustrating moments for me were the match-fixing saga in 1999 and our inexplicable first round exit from the 2007 WC. On both occasions I decided to distance myself from the game forever, but couldn’t do it for more than a month. Steve Waugh, Sachin , Wasim and Ponting are my all time favorite players. I can’t stand Azhar and Jadeja. I used to be a regular in the Cricket Room:1 on Yahoo chat and it was one of the guys there who told me about ICF on SN back in ’03. I kept logging in from time to time to check out the interesting threads but didn’t post much as I preferred to chat in real time. However, after the pro-ganguly sentiment on that board reached dizzying heights my visits became less frequent. Then one day I realized all the top posters of ICF had vanished leaving behind only the parochial ganguly brigade. I googled the usernames of various ICF’ers and managed to locate this site (after some effort!). Fantastic site you folks have put up here. With the cream of the old ICF here, this forum has a bright future, just like our team. Very long intro :P .But I’m here to stay! :finger:
Yeh hui na baat! Nice introduction P_K. BTW I also used to frequent the Yahoo Cricket Chat Rooms back in 2002/2003. Tera id kya tha? :D

Bheem naam hai mera .. from the land of greatest match winners - Karnataka . Other than cricket I love numbers and making mince meat out of them. Iam one of the older members over here but can beat any of you newbies to pulp on anything that I put my mind to ... hehehee. I have been around and seen a lot of life ... hence the no-nonsense straight talk on the forums. I talk straight and dont like people who beat around the bush. Havent met anybody that is as deeply addicted to cricket as me but few here come close. Iam also very passionate about what happens back home politically and socially and very critical of the "Lets feed the croc so that it doesnt eat me today" gang.
All of the above is now rendered as old as crocs , now here is a member from "lets feed YOU to the croc so that it doesn't eat ME today" gang

Humpf, how lazy people are ! Personally , i will probably win the "world's most laziest guy" competition hands down ( just that i am too lazy to go and collect the prize).
I am sure you will win, particularly because the real champion ( yours truly) is too lazy to even compete

Hi, my name is sriram, am doing my masters. I came to this site through a friend of mine, who shares my name. Being an avid cricket and a passionate sachin fan (the name ) it was but natural for me to become a part of the group. I hail from chennai india and have been watchin cricket from the time india participated in the 92 WC. When i am not watching cricket, movies, sharing a joke with friends etc....i contemplate opening the books. This site has some prolific writers and analysts, i think the next step would be to start a full fledged cricket e-journal a'la wisden or whatever., VARUN, are you listening??/

I don't need to really state my name, it's quite obvious. As the rest of the folks here I'm an avid cricket fan and in particular Indian cricket. I come from NZ and obviously I back Black Caps. Black Caps and Indian cricket team are my two favorite ones. I'm among the founders of this website but these days I've gotten busy as it's summer over here and am quite busy playing cricket. When I'm not playing and at home I pretty much live here. BTW I still have the most number of posts for the website. I know couple are closing by but only just.:D

Fellas , I know FWM for a while now. He is a double masters+Doctoral student in one of the world's leading univs plus an avid sports junkie, with cricket being one of his favorite sports. The thing about him is , He is more an Aussie fan than an Indian one. With the Aussie series coming up , i thought i could ask him to get on board and get the Aussie perspective of things too. So , essentially , he is the 2nd Aussie on this board after Donny. :D

Greetings from a 37 yr old Brit.called Stephen, but I'm one of a rare breed that prefers Indian cricket and everything that goes with it. Fave player 'the master blaster', M.S. Dhoni and have only attended one game in India which was at Goa in March 2006 when India trounced England. Got in trouble in my local pub t'other night when I said that IKEA stood for 'India Kick England's A*&E. Tee hee. Arriving at Dabolim from Manchester for the winter season, which I have done for the pst 3 yrs. First visit to Bombay and Goa was in 1993 and have noticed massive changes. Cheers everyone from a minus 4 degree Manchester.

Brilliant! Welcome Steve- I believe you are the first Englishman on board. Greetings from a fellow (ex-) Mancunian.
