khelkit
Shekar Naik, is the captain of the national blind cricket team who have scored 32 centuries and 15 half centuries in 63 matches. The small town guy is also the captain of the T20 team but earn only 15000 per month while another captain of the Indian cricket team MS Dhoni earns 1 crore per month. Why the country does not see this? Has the nation gone blind or think person with disability despite being talented should be left behind? Why the country and its men treat them differently? kosingh
Ummm...something about the free market. When people start filling up stadiums to watch Shekar, when millions of people turn on their TV to watch Mr Shekar, when advertisers start giving the BCCI millions of dollars to sponsor matches in which Dhoni plays, we shall see Mr Shekar gettng paid better. Debutant
Mr OP, how many times have you watched this guy bat ?? Nobody cares about these blind games. No idea why they have these in the first place. He should be grateful he is getting 15 K a month. Link to comment

sourab10forever
Nothing wrong that this guy is getting much less....but 15k is too less for a living. Link to comment

Arguing for Dhoni levels of income is obviously absurd. Although blind cricket matches generate much less interest than Ranji, paying the players Ranji level salary is not going to hurt the BCCI's pockets Link to comment
