Have you checked Prasidh speed yesterday? Most of the time he was around 140 and some of his deliveries were touching 142 . Mostly Prasidh is around 145 type of bowler . There were more like around India with smooth action. Unfortunately we do not need those type of bowlers . We need bowlers who have unique edge like Bumrah or Nasser Shah kind of. Yes agree with it . With smooth action it may be easier on body . But smoiotg action hardly had any edge over sophisticated. actions . We need good output rather than smooth actions .

Firstly , I just give you just an example of so many pacers we have at 135 category . Bhuvi is bit different but all other regularly go over 135 plus . Prasidh is more of 135 to 142 type bowler . There are many more who can easily doing it . This is an not area Where Indian cricket have to worry too much . Secondly , he is unique and so far did pretty well over the years with work load . He is ok to do with 1-2 test matches on straight to bowl long spells but not in 4-5 test match series where he only had 2 day break in between tests . Even Akaashdeep has similar problems due to over work load in last test match .

Our bucket is full of easy to bowl 135 type bowlers . You will find them any state and association . I can name you obvious one and others are everywhere - Akaashdeep , Prashid , Bhuvi , Shami ,Arashderp , Khallel etc . injury can happen to anyone . Bumrah is giant of person to bowling at that sped . Actually he has the capacity to bowl 140 plus on regular basis . There is nothing wrong with his action . That's how he is build and suited to him . He is bowling with this action for more than 10-12 years . That's a long period . In essence , we need to properly groom bowlers like Tyagi , Gurnoor , and Kuldeep sen , J and K pacer or anyone comes with bit of different edge rather than persisting with aged Shami or trundlers Akaashdeep .

Does not work hard enough and seems bit lazy . He is bit discourage as well how seniors got hierarchy order in Indian Cricket . I also feel that he does not feel comfortable when Kohli is batting along him . Do not why ?

I always mentioned in my posts thar kohli and Rohit are menance in the team . One is not test batsman and other technique can not hold on spinning track At this stage in careeer , they should not take place of Sarfraz and Gill . I am not personally against Pant but he should at least perform on consistent basis and shows good temperament and technique when match is on the line .

You do not want to give more than 10 innings for a batsman to come into form . Otherwise it will create a culture of easeness .Do not compare with Dhoni too as he was captain himself and was average wicket keeper in test matches . Whoever plays for India either Jurel , Pant , Samson or Kishan if they do not perform in 4-5 tests . They should be sent back to domestics to work on their weakness . Consistency should also be the key , an innings here and there should not be considered the criteria for long rope . I hope it clears that I do not back anyone but only the performance .

I would not judge much on but he did in India Even the Saha was king in India . I was bit surprised Jaiswal lasted till 70 overs as he tend to lose concentration after 100 plus balls . With the technique and temprament Pant is playing he would not last much longer . Yes his ideal position belong at 6-7 . But having 3 all rounders force him to come at 5 when Rohit and Kohli are just walker .

There is a lot of talent in India . If team is picked purely on talent . India will beat Australia in hands down . The problem with indian cricket is will to give chances to new talent . Oldies can fail continuously for a year and still get selected . Even better they can be a captain of the side .

You cannot judge someone with 1 test innging . When whole team just made 150 score in Perth . He already showed at 2 India A innings that he belonged there in the team . I'm not personally against pant but he got his rope now it's Jurel or Samson time and see if they can perform . If you think purely on cricketing sense , we only have KL Rahul and Jaiswal as a batsman . Rohit , Pant and Kohli is hit and miss gamble . Nitesh , Jadeha ( very unpredictable too) and R Sundar are all rounders . So we just need a batsman who got better technique and temprament . Otherwise replace Rohit or Kohli with better batsmen .

You seems to be pant baghat . From your writing , I can see you are not mature person that's way you give certificates to other people about clueless , not , Indian or Pakistani. Jurel has solid technique and temprament . Not to mention , he has performed well with India and India A . Pant got innings to showcase his talent and did not work out for him and now let's give 4 innings to Jurel and then judge him .

First thing first , Raula katta is a Punjabi word . Which is often used in punjab . Punjab is on both sides of border . The language is almost same on both sides of border . If you think it's Pakistani word then learn a bit about Punjab and Punjabi language . Secondly , the meaning of the word is often used for pant like people who have miss and hit technique and temprament . Thirdly , where you get those statistics . He was injured for last 2 years . Before it he was in out of the side for most of the time . The only innings he played well is at last BGT trophy . With this technique and temprament , he almost get failed in 90% of the time . Why should he take place of Jurel who is solid batsman and delivered you on 80% of the cases . Last but not lest , I am an Indian and will never waste my time on other country cricket forum .

Pujara is a step backward . We have the brightest talent in the world with Jaiswal , Gill and Sarfraz in the squad . They are once in a generation batsman . Why Sarfraz been dropped after just 2 bad tests . They guy has just played 6-7 Marche in his career . Even though he scored a century in first March against Newzealand and then around 50 score when whole team was falling . Not sure why he dropped ?

Depend on person to person and how they take the feedback . Some old players take things at their egos rather than purely in cricketing sense .

Better to have someone face on rather than Meek person

He is way better coach than Shastri and Dravid . The result may not have gone in his favour but at least he is passionate about Indian cricket and speak his mind . With Dravid and Shastri , we will never have talk of Rohit ot Kohli retirement and brush it aside in media .

Atleast Jurel is way better than pant and got solid technique . Yes agree , we need to drop never test batsman Rohit and awakard batsman Kohli . We should play our 3 prodigies Jaiswal , Gill and Sarfraz Khan together . Then add on utility player like Sai , Ryan parag , Rituraj , Kuldeep Tadav and many more

Pant should never come close to the team . At best he is raula kata batsman . Sarfraz khan is the prodigy we need in this team . If aka ash deep is not available I will put Prashid over Harshit . If possible we should add utility player like Sai or Ryan Parag to the team because Jadeha is neither a batsman nor a bowler
