How tough is this team? Half the team was playing with injuries including Umesh, Rahul, Vijay, Jadeja, Ashwin... Such a tough group who deserve applause for not just playing but performing at such a high level.

Have to say the convicts were lucky and got away from what would've been the most epic phainty humanity has ever seen had they toured us a bit earlier

Yes. Spot on. Even I felt the timing of Australian series is going to favor them more than us. We should have played Aussies right after New Zealand.

Yes it was a tough display. Fact that so many are now missing IPL after choosing to play through injuries in the Tests should shut up anyone who questions their commitment

Yeah! I don't see any commentators pointing this out. So many people with serious injuries but toughing it out because we are playing the Aussies. I think it's awesome! Nice to see this level of commitment,  and nice reminder that while the IPL is fun and pays well, they know the real glory is in playing for India in big time series.

I think a lot that is great about this TEAM gets lost in the VK/MSD debates and such silliness. Cricket is the ultimate team sport, and this team is pretty exceptional and very likable.
