sandeep Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 Luke Ronchi pulling a Parthiv Patel for the kiwis. Bangla boys with a sub-par total by modern ODI standards. This is going to be over by the 40th over most likely.
sandeep Posted May 17, 2017 Author Posted May 17, 2017 Kiwis always punch above their weight in these tournaments. Perpetual "dark horse" and not without basis. However I think they will easily fall short of the 3 favorites in this one - can't quite match the batting firepower and depth that the top teams have to offer. SA, Australia, England, India, NZ - This is how I see the ODI teams in order of odds to win the CT - 99% sure that one of the top 3 wins it. Who knows, this may be the year that SA finally win something. I think the Saffers have the best chance they've ever had to win a global tournament with the CT and ODI World Cup in England.

It will be England all the way.they have the most balanced line up for such conditions there bowling is lil weak though but their batting depth and fire power will compensate for it.

I think England will find a way to lose it in either Semi or Final. SA or Aus I think, SA with the edge due to Imran Tahir.

sandeep Posted May 18, 2017 Author Posted May 18, 2017 Mortaza is done, needs to retire. He's rarely good enough even as a 5th bowler, and is the guy that teams will target. He should be non-playing captain, if he's deemed so important to the team's psyche.
