The Outsider
whats so gentlemanly about appealing for a bat-pad catch that quite clearly came off the pad ? Nothing. But by that time the gentleman's agreement was off, which wasn't the case in Sydney. Link to comment
Rajiv
No' date=' the "incident" happened right in that video. Before that Harbhajan had patted Lee's bum but Symonds was no where in the picture. It is in that very video than Harbhajan has supposedly called Symonds a monkey.[/quote'] ..oh don't tell me it;s about a love triangle now Link to comment

Ole Gill
First of all its not a victory secondly , CA either didnt beleive that their players were telling the truth or thought its not worth it. Whatever it may be, I think we should be asking why CA didnt back their players and stop asking why did BCCI stood by their players and yes it was about if symonds was called a Monkey ... wasnt it ? You can't seriously believe that CA not backing their players was because they didn't believe them. Don't be so naive, it's about the 60 million dollars CA would have lost had the Indians pulled out. It's all about the money, which is what makes the BCCI's actions so deplorable. Link to comment
Pancho
or dravid ball tampering ? or sreesanth carrying on like a goose ? aussies play hard cricket. its probably why we are number 1 and india is number 2. harden up, toughen up and lets play some cricket. bring on the one dayers !! Desi Cartman
So you're in australia? I think Stuart Clark was , wasnt he ? I heard it many times that old legs of Indians wont match the catching & running capability of the aussies. This is before the Aussies dropped a dozen catches. Link to comment

Where was the hardness, toughness, and fairness when Aussie players were spitting all over the Wankhede pitching whining away after being bowled out for less than a 100. Not that I am a supporter of doctored pitches, but just this one time I hope we prepare the most "gentlemanly" of turners to give Australia a 4-0. Link to comment
Jimoi
So clark isn't in Australia? 2 okay bowlers (2 untried) coming up against 5 of the best batsman in the world? India's bowlers did an amazing job this series, but they did have 2 world class spinners as well Link to comment
Pancho
it amazing how everyone has turned a blind eye to my harbhajan video... funny that. out of sight. out of mind. Link to comment

CA had no choice, a loss of 60 million quid would have a devestating impact. It sucks that we caved, but you have to be realistic about the situation. The BCCI on the other hand, saw fit to blackmail CA without letting the proper procedure take it's course. You do realise that the case was going to be heard in front of a New Zealand High Court judge don't you? But the BCCI still felt compelled to undermine an independent hearing. What does that tell you? Link to comment
