Lurker Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 this movie and this song is just classic i have seen this movie like over hundred timez :two_thumbs_up: This movie was released in the first year of my Engineering college and I remember how the girls had gone gaga over SRK by this time(mostly thanks to the hangover of Fauji). By the same account most guys were pi$$ed at SRK and the only reason I ultimately saw this movie was because of its songs, including this one. An excellent movie and superb songs. The music was brainchild of Jatin-Lalit and lyrics are by Majrooh Sultanpuri, a combination that I was sure would rule Hindi movie for a while. Unfortunately they didnt work for too many movies though the combination did give gems like Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikandar and Khamoshi, the latter's Baahon ke darmiyaan remains one of my favorites. Also as a piece of trivia, the voice for SRK in this song was done by Amit Kumar, son of Kishore Kumar, who was quite popular in 80s. This was one of his last hit songs.
