Mr. Wicket
Part I here. 90/2 in the 16th or so over. Very nice. A real improvement on the debacle of 130 in 49 overs at Wellington, right? Nope. Duckworth Lewis shortened the game to 36 overs. They still couldn't bat that time out, being bowled out for 158 after that start with 3 run outs and the combination of Oram and Vettori totalling 13.1-1-28-2. Bravo Ingerland. Meanwhile, NZ show them how to do it. 117/0 after 12 overs, quite ridiculous stuff with McCullum and Ryder exploding at both ends. Someone in the England think tank seems to have an amazing penchant for brainfarts. Leaving Mascarenhas out of the first ODI after his T20 success? Bad. Leaving him out here after seeing Bopara struggle in his place? Even worse. And Swann? A mediocre bowler, not worth playing unless it's a slow turner, and certainly not worth his place with the willow either. A brilliant start to the series from England. They've managed to **** it up spectacularly right after. I am in awe as they pull off own-goal after own-goal. Link to comment

Mr. Wicket
Of course. NZ held their catches and ran the Poms out. The Poms dropped their catches and ran themselves out. :D Link to comment
