Problem is we some how have to play Steyn...may have to leave Boucher Out.. Big headache even with Only 6 foriegn players..... If someone like Murali sucked in IPL1 then I can only see this kid struggle on the flat tracks in our country.[/quote'] He is OK for 20/20...his performance in CL t20 is good also same in BIIG bash..he can do well in Indian conditions...recently in australian domestic his batting is better than Bowling...but his presence required mainly for March..i dont think he can find place in 2nd half when taylor.KP.white all comes.... *first class records doesnt matter in 20/20 i think. Every other team going for Out and out fast bowlers...if he got a good Swinging condition he will defintely blow opposition...(we have Vk and PK to do that but i dont have too much faith on these guys).... Let's see.[/quote'] Its just that there is a wrist spinner in the team, they always have a moment of magic or two in them and for a 20 year old he has shown good control. Agree with cbf, Steyn is almost useless on these dead flat pitches, I can't see him being a permanent fixture in the team. The bowling department is a problem though. Any news on KP Appanna, he did well in a few games he played, I don't think he played much this Ranji Season. He is the long term replacement for Joshi in FC Cricket. VDM is good and proved in 20/20..(IPL,CL and ICC world 2020) But off late his form is gone bit downhill...so its better to have a option....
