Likely to best case scenario for top teams:

Aus

  • Current points: 296
  • Home series vs Ind (4)
  • Away series vs. BD (2) and SA (3)

Final status: Almost confirmed (unless its wheels fall off)

NZ

  • Current points: 240
  • Home series vs. Pak (2) and WI (2)
  • Away series vs. BD (2)

Final status: The favorites to play Aus if they continue to move like the juggernaut at home

Ind

  • Current points: 360
  • Home series vs. Eng (5)
  • Away series vs. Aus (4)

Final status: Needs to play well in Aus. If not, needs to make the most of Eng series to have a chance ....  Since it is 5 tests at home, Eng will get used to the conditions

Eng

  • Current points: 146
  • Home series vs. Pak (3) and WI (3)
  • Away series vs. SL (2) and Ind (5)

Final status: Needs to play well esp. in SL and Ind to make it. .... Ind-Eng could eat into each others points
