Rohan495 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Rohit Sharma is almost certainly targetted by mumbai
Kartikey Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 The Hyderabad batting lineup with Gilly' date=' Afridi, Symonds and Gibbs is a ticking timebomb. 300 in 20 overs or 10/4 in 2 overs. [/quote'] what u have said is absolutely true. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Rohan495 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 ideal hyd line up(batting) Gilchrist Gibbs Laxman Symonds Sarwan Afridi
Ram Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Wow, Hyd's batting is STRONG ! All their batsman have good technique + power, except Laxman :finger:
bunny Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Symonds is one of the most responsible 20-20 players. Hyderabad were way smarter than Mumbai.
Gambit Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 ideal hyd line up(batting) Gilchrist Gibbs Laxman Symonds Sarwan Afridi I think they will send Laxman very low in that lineup, especially if they are chasing. Sarwan can be pretty explosive too.
bunny Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Mumbai don't even have a good keeper. They will have to hope that their local keeper is a good wicketkeeping batsman.
Ram Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I cant imagine what kind of havoc the line-up that has Gilly, Gibbs, Symonds and Afridi can cause. This line-up may well go on to break the record for the most runs in a T20 game, unless Laxman has got something to do with it. He doesnt attack even when playing with no.11, there is no way he is going score in a t20 game. :finger:
Gambit Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Dhoni might not have to keep for Chennai if they play Parthiv too. OTOH letting Parthiv keep might turn out to be too expensive a move. :nervous:
mhr123 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Kamran Akmal (Pak) $150,000 nearly free for Jaipur
bunny Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Players I'd like to steal now: Steyn, M. Morkel, Bracken, David Hussey, Michael Hussey, Sarwan, Cameron White.
Kartikey Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Lets not forget Yusuf Pathan, he is ideally suited to T20's.
bunny Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Jaipur have got 1 problem though...You can only play 4 overseas player in a match and they will be forced to play Akmal and . I think they should seriously gun for Pollock and the entire Indian lineup.
mhr123 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 what you guys feel about jaffer? he is not suited for 50-50 forget abt 20-20 ...
Guest HariSampath Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Hyderabad looks good too. With Gibbs, Gilchrist, Symonds and Afridi...they should be happy with that, although I cant see who they are planning to buy for bowling. Delhi has made some ordinary bids, but got Vettori, and icon is Viru,KKD keeps for them. I am surprised why Mumbai has been silent...is it because the trio of Sachin, Bhajji and Sanath has cost them nearly 3 millions ! Right now, I think Chennai and Hyderabad has bid very well and got some great deals for a 20/20 format Chennai better get 2 good fast bowlers, pleeease look carefully at Ntini, Steyn , Pollock, and also at RP and Irfan, ANY two from the above and we would be on a roll !!!
mhr123 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Lets not forget Yusuf Pathan' date=' he is ideally suited to T20's.[/quote'] my fav.. kolkata pick him up. SK come on bid for him
Kartikey Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 what about wasim jaffer? any predictions? he'll go into the reserve pot.
