What does it take to organize a cricket match?

Venues are decided 3-4 months in advance. What happens after that?

1. When does curator start pitch preparation? How long does it take?

2. How are security arrangements made? Who pays for it? Do they train separately?

3. Do players sign separate contracts before matches?

4. Who makes travel arrangements?

5. How are sponsors name etc decided?

There are many other questions.

There are many other questions.

1. The moment there is no more cricket to be played. Some pitches will require more work than others.

2. Grounds have their own security in place. Though they probably don't keep a huge number on payroll, so additional security is hired for match days. There are firms who provide security guards.

3. What contracts would players sign before matches? - Can't think of any.

4. Home board should be responsible for travel arrangements. Though teams may choose to make their own arrangements

5. Who pays the most money is the sponsor.

The above information may or may not be true.
