BCCI had earlier set aside Rs 50 crore to finance training of sportspersons from other disciplines. i saw some left party MP cussing BCCI and the auction process and at the same time claiming that other sport are being neglected. this is a easy way to shut a bunch of people up.

yes, fully agreed. These are the most deprived sports in the recent past. Though this move is taken under some pressure as mentioned above, still its very much needed for these sports so as to improve the facilities and the standards.
