IndianRenegade Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 mate' date=' a lot of people would say someone staring at you going "yes yes" once being dismissed is provocative ?[/quote'] But it is not an offense, still.
Pancho Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 you take the responsibility fair enuf' date=' but what about me? I started it? What should happen to me?[/quote'] after your disgusting analogy about you raping my sister, i have no intentions of discussing anything with you. theres a line.. and you went so far over it.
IndianRenegade Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 come on mate... im sure there are many incidents of players swearing in cricket matches. many. players should be held responsible for their own actions. practice what you preach. p.s. dont retort back with what australia got away with in the past and go tit for tat with player misbehaviour from the past. everyone is aware of it from both sides. its become extremely tiring. deal with the issue at hand. what ever way you look at it, sharma did the wrong thing. So why wasn't Symonds pulled up? Players getting away with swearing in the past is not the issue at hand.
cochise Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 come on mate... im sure there are many incidents of players swearing in cricket matches. many. players should be held responsible for their own actions. Indeed they should. And this goes for both sides. Or at least it should...it seems a little selective at present...all these pleasantries seem to be acknowledged only from the one side...how unfair to the Aussies...they have been equally pleasant and should be acknowledged by the umpires too.
umpire Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 >after your disgusting analogy about you raping my sister, i have no intentions of discussing anything with you. >theres a line.. and you went so far over it. cop out. :) apologies for disgusting analogy, there was nothing else that would make sense to you. You are trying to defend symonds here. Symonds is as guilty as Ishant. If Ishant was fined, why was symond not even warned? Symond is repeat offender, he seems to have a chat with every tom, dick and harry. who is he?
Pancho Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 So why wasn't Symonds pulled up? Players getting away with swearing in the past is not the issue at hand. im not arguing why symonds wasnt pulled up mate. again.. match referees will have to answer that one. would i have said anything to ishant ? no. why would i with 300 runs on the board ?

Symond is repeat offender, he seems to have a chat with every tom, dick and harry. who is he? excuse me ? dude, you are a disgrace. admit when you stuffed up and said something disgusting like that without dressing it up with complete rubbish. if you decide i might not be able to understand something, may i suggest you chose something else other than you raping a family member. absolutely disgusting form.
cochise Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Symonds wasn't pulled up on instigating the Harbhajan issue either...I think he is too gentlemanly for any sanctions. And too precious...$1.35 million bucks of sensitive new age gentleman. p.s. Pancho, your example was a little gory too...killing your girl if she cheated on you...why would you think of such a thing then to deny it anyway?
umpire Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 >dude, you are a disgrace. admit when you stuffed up and said something disgusting like that without dressing it up with complete rubbish. if you decide i might not be able to understand something, may i suggest you chose something else other than you raping a family member. absolutely disgusting form. now it makes sense to you doesn't it? You are mad at me. Ishant is in same boat as you. Thanks for proving how abuses work.
Pancho Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 p.s. Pancho' date=' your example was a little gory too...killing your girl if she cheated on you...why would you think of such a thing then to deny it anyway?[/quote'] a) i dont have a girlfriend. b) and if i did, what i choose to say about her or my family is my business and not for anyone else to comment on. no matter how gory anyone may think it is.
Mr. Wicket Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 The Indian team don't need to make any protests/comments, neither do the Aussies - they're better off just hiring you lot and having you whine for them.

Thanks for proving how abuses work. dude, if i wanted to react angrily at you, i would probably be inside your computer at the moment destroying it. if you had said it to my face i would tell you how i felt. instead ive chosen to say my bit and ignore you.
16 str8 Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 What I find funny is, despite all the anger he has caused Indians, you guys are still beinding over backwards to throw money at him!! :haha::hysterical::haha:
umpire Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 >how i felt. instead ive chosen to say my bit and ignore you. good on you, you are mature fellow, Ishant is not. But that does not make my abuse towards you any less does it. Fact is I abused you and I am guilty.
cochise Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 a) i dont have a girlfriend. b) and if i did, what i choose to say about her or my family is my business and not for anyone else to comment on. no matter how gory anyone may think it is. It is if you post it on a public forum. Especially if you are talking about "killing" and the like. My question leads to this...you profer a gory example and take offence at anothers. Note, your analogy was to juxtapose your exaple on the Ishant/Simmo pointing where Ishant is the "killer". Double standards perhaps?
Pancho Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 It is if you post it on a public forum. Especially if you are talking about "killing" and the like. My question leads to this...you profer a gory example and take offence at anothers. Note, your analogy was to juxtapose your exaple on the Ishant/Simmo pointing where Ishant is the "killer". Double standards perhaps? if i chose a gory screnario about a girlfriend i dont have, whether you deem that unacceptable or something you wouldnt do, that does definitely not give anyone a green light to say anything they like about a family member of mine. honestly.. surely i dont need to explain this anymore. i used an excessive analogy to attempt to explain the incident. my analogy didnt involve anyones 8 year old family member, or anyones girlfriend.
IndianRenegade Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 im not arguing why symonds wasnt pulled up mate. again.. match referees will have to answer that one. would i have said anything to ishant ? no. why would i with 300 runs on the board ? It is not about u but abt Symo matters. People have sledged even in good positions. Pointing giving Bhajji a send off, Hogg sledging Dhoni & Kumble. So, just because one is a good position it doesn't mean they wouldn't sledge. And again Aussies use sledging as a tactic called mental disintegration. So abusing a person when one is one a high really serves the purpose. And of course the match referees are at fault here. And that is what we are saying.
cochise Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Pancho, He said it was an ANALOGY. He is not saying it literally to your family. There is a vast difference. Here is how it should read...IMAGINE the case where A does this to B etc etc...he is asking you to assume a role to gauge your thinking as you were asking him too. It is not a ltieral comment to about your family. Granted, it was not an analogy I would choose, but I wouldn't choose yours either.
Pancho Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 And of course the match referees are at fault here. And that is what we are saying. i kinda think we are on the same page here, but perhaps from different angles. a lot of my comments werent directed at you earlier. im not excusing symonds. not excusing ponting. they got away with it.
Pancho Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Pancho, He said it was an ANALOGY. He is not saying it literally to your family. There is a vast difference. Here is how it should read...IMAGINE the case where....then he puts you in a situation and asks you your reaction. Granted, it was not an analogy I would choose, but I wouldn't choose yours either. it was an analogy that was directed at me. come on.. i know he is not saying it literally to my family. it still does not paint a nice picture for me. thats the difference. my analogy involved me. his involved my family, which is wrong.
