msb1991 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 From what I saw, Ishant sent Symonds off which is a Level 1.6 offence. I think that send offs should be allowed imo, but they are against the rules and he deserved to be punished.
sm332 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 yeah but if Symmo actually started the mouthing off then what? the TV replays indicated that both were at it
siddhu Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 not surprised but symmo being let off... he is an aussie and can do no wrong...:angry_smile:
IndianRenegade Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 No word on what symonds gets....:(( HT says symmonds has been let off. Now this is going to turn into another ugly row. In the Bhajji spat. Inspite of evidence that he was the first person to instigate Dhajji and that he also abused Bhajji he was let off. Now, in this case if you see the replays, you can see that Symmonds was the first one to abuse & Ishant followed it up with a send off. Why should symmonds be let off?
umpire Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Symo is saint. So far Ishant has been quiet and for 2 months never seen him mouth off anything. There must be something symo said.
beetle Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 Could this be another drama unfolding to keep interest ? Symonds seems to have understood the "controversy mantra" to get the bucks!
bigdhoni7 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 symonds not being charged? bcci needs to go after these match referees.
msb1991 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 yeah but if Symmo actually started the mouthing off then what? the TV replays indicated that both were at it To me, it seemed like Sharma pointed to the pavillion (which is illegal), Symonds retaliated and then Sharma said '**** off'.
bigdhoni7 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 ^ wrong. sharma waved his finger, symonds said some sh!t before sharma clapped at him and pointed to the pavillion.
Ram Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I love this, everyone in the Indian team is after Symmonds ! :yay:
IndianRenegade Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 To me' date=' it seemed like Sharma pointed to the pavillion (which is illegal), Symonds retaliated and then Sharma said '**** off'.[/quote'] Wrong watch the video again. It is Symmonds who starts to bad mouth Ishant, he replies with a send off...
