Bombay Ranji OD discussion

Recommended Posts

Mumbai battered Saurashtra with the bat with a sight that gave all Bombay/India fans great hope; Abhishek Nayar belting his maiden List A ton. Nayar made 102 in 88 balls. Before the world could celebrate the achievement, the first sign of the apocalypse came upon us. Ajit Agarkar led Bombay's defense of their total with 8 overs, 5 maidens, 11 runs and 2 wickets. Yes. Agarkar in a one day game bowled 5 maidens and finished with an e/r below 1.5 This follows Robin Peterson taking a test five for. The world is ending.

another insane scorecard in our domestic LISTA A GAMEZ.. what the heck are bowlerz doing.. or what the heck are ground conditionz for them to bowl.. sucks
Yeah, but in this case it's understandable. In the strongest group, Bombay needed a really strong win to ensure they safely got to the KO round after losing to Gujarat earlier. So no surprise that Rahane/Jaffer/etc would have gone hard from ball 1 and tried to demolish Maharashtra. Job well done. :D
