Mr. Wicket
Mumbai battered Saurashtra with the bat with a sight that gave all Bombay/India fans great hope; Abhishek Nayar belting his maiden List A ton. Nayar made 102 in 88 balls. Before the world could celebrate the achievement, the first sign of the apocalypse came upon us. Ajit Agarkar led Bombay's defense of their total with 8 overs, 5 maidens, 11 runs and 2 wickets. Yes. Agarkar in a one day game bowled 5 maidens and finished with an e/r below 1.5 This follows Robin Peterson taking a test five for. The world is ending. Link to comment

Cricketics
another insane scorecard in our domestic LISTA A GAMEZ.. what the heck are bowlerz doing.. or what the heck are ground conditionz for them to bowl.. sucks Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
another insane scorecard in our domestic LISTA A GAMEZ.. what the heck are bowlerz doing.. or what the heck are ground conditionz for them to bowl.. sucks Yeah, but in this case it's understandable. In the strongest group, Bombay needed a really strong win to ensure they safely got to the KO round after losing to Gujarat earlier. So no surprise that Rahane/Jaffer/etc would have gone hard from ball 1 and tried to demolish Maharashtra. Job well done. :D Link to comment

Mr. Wicket
Yeah, they were in the same situation as Bombay. Win or get KOed. Had to go for it. 80/5 after 10.2 overs. :haha: Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
BTW, so refreshing to see that big score from Amol here. At age 35, he's a far better and more complete one day batsman than certain people travelling with the ODI side. Link to comment
Lurker
Good to see Agarkar still going at 6.75 an over. Gets full mark for consistency. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Lurks, did you see his bowling figures in the game v. Saurashtra? Scared the living hell out of me. Link to comment
Lurker
^^ Actually no Salil, I dont quite follow as much domestic cricket these days. When you say he scared you I am guessing he turned in one helluva performance? As in 2-15 in 10 overs??? Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
Better. 8-5-11-2 And this was also a game where Mumbai racked up a huge total at first (Abhishek Nayar slammed his first List A ton) Link to comment
Lurker
Hmm thats quite un-Agarkar like. He turns in such performance after playing nearly 200 games and leaking runs at 5 plus? Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
The Saurashtra players must have been intimidated by all the fire in his eyes and fist pumping. Link to comment
Chandan
Wonder how I missed this thread. BTW, Rahane broke Sachin's record of List A highest score with that knock of 187. Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
I take it you mean for all Indian batsmen - Richards and Anwar have higher List A scores. Link to comment
maaki
So whats the take on this guy Rahane..
