Should kohli and Rohit needs to bat all 50 overs to score over 330 runs

Today Rohit and kohli took got out playing shots to up the average

They should not have taken risk at that stage and looks to play 50 overs

Leave 5 overs for Pandya otherwise we should have Rohit/Kohli for 45.

There’s no simple answer to this and it certainly has to be flexible. On the one hand, if there’s no pressure on them to stay until the 40th over, they may bat more freely and could in fact get into great rhythm as last until 50. However batting partially with keeping safety in mind could ironically boggle them down. If the pitch feels like it isn’t too batting friendly, and if they assess is difficult for new batsmen, then atleast one should look to stay till the 40th in my opinion.

it was the wrong time for kohli to come today..his game is strike rotation whereas kl cant rotate the strike at all. kl needs to paired with a boundry hitter.
