Birbal hasn't made any of those retarded comments (it's common knowledge that ==> was the prime culprit behind the momentum theory, and other bakwaas anti-Indian rants) and he is an intelligent guy who knows his cricket. There is no need to antagonise members for no reason; especially if they have contrasting viewpoints from own - in fact such posters should be encouraged to post more often, as we can't maintain a forum without debates. But cricinfo Statsguru will confirm that out of 110 matches played OUTSIDE India Ganguly has won 59... that ain't no 23%... This one FALSE statistic...means the whole article is basically Bullshit...

Given the number of tournaments India won under his leadership; i'd rather use him as the benchmark. So far India have disappointed in all the multination tourneys they have participated in. They lost to SL in the IndianOil triangular, failed to qualify for the final of the DLF Cup in Malaysia, and suffered an embarrassing first round exit in the Champions Trophy. Although India have never lost a bilateral series at home under him, which is an exceptional achievement...Azhar never lost one either. If he can match Azhar's 69% success rate at home & 44% success rate overseas and win a tournament or two, he will have a strong claim to be the best ODI captain India have ever had.
