Total Grant from ICC to Afg+Ireland for a whole year (Approx) : 56-60 Crs

 

For playing 14 games over 2 months , 5 players earning almost as much as two full member cricketing nations do from ICC to run their entire cricketing operations from grassroots to domestic to international. Wow.

Don't forget - 10% of all foreign player contracts are directly paid to the home board.  Smaller nations have a lot to gain from investing in good facilities and grooming talent.  Afghanistan probably doubles its annual budget just from its 'cut' of the League salaries of folks like Rashid, Mujib, Nabi etc.
