King
U mean in the next test or for all the test.... if for all the up coming test then u r wasting SRT. Tendulkar's not playing the next test. As for long term Laxman should definitely play at no.5 Link to comment
gs
On current form, Laxman at 3. Dravid just destroys the momentum in his struggle to get into form. Link to comment

fineleg
I used to think that "ICF fans wanted VVS to bat at #3"...mere perception. The poll proves there are strong proponents of both RD @3 and VVS @3 equally. Link to comment

Hawkeye
On current form' date=' Laxman at 3. Dravid just destroys the momentum in his struggle to get into form.[/quote'] I expected a message to this effect to pervade this particular post. Dravid in his current form would be great at saving matches but we are looking to win and to do that out batsman need to score at a sensible rate. Whilst the position in Australia was different, there was no reason for Dravid to build a defensive innings on a dead flat pitch in Chennai. I'd much rather see Laxman get in and start scoring fluently, a weapon that Dravid's armoury seems to be lacking at the moment. Link to comment
